List of all MPs - why only contact one?

Post by Admin on Thu Apr 03, 2008 5:46 pm

Why only contact your own local MP? Why not go the whole hog?

Certainly contact your local MP, and hopefully they will be of great help... but if you got an issue with the CSA, and a few hours to spare, then send an e-mail off to ALL of them! Clearly most of them will simply send you a message saying "sorry... you're not in my constituency"... but not all! Some will take notice! And even if they take no notice of you... then eventually they will HAVE to take notice, if everyone send them the concerns and issues they have with the CSA... there's only a certain amount of e-mail that can be ignored... if their inbox is full everyday with new issues regarding the CSA then they will enventually have to take action and do something about it.

Also, if you do contact your MP, you might want to inform all the other MPs about your case too, and at the same time informing them that you have contacted your local MP... if nothing else, if you tell that to your MP, they might want to do something proactive, as not to look like a plonker in the eyes of the other MPs... so they might not be fighting your cause for the right reasons, but any reason is better then not fighting for your cause at all.
